Snailbeach Mine Tub

Following the closure of Stiperstones School in 2021 the mine tub that was on display in the playground has now been moved to the edge of Snailbeach Village Hall car park and mounted on a new plinth built by local builder Tim Hockley. The tub was originally provided by Joy Mining Machinery and loaned by the Shropshire Mines Trust to the school, with funding for it's orignal mount from Yorkshire Bank PLC.
