DRUNKENNESS: John Harris, alias Barker, collier, Madeley, was brought up in custody, charged with being drunk on Saturday night. Police-constable Roberts stated that the prisoner was very drunk and disorderly, and that he had occasion to speak to him early in the evening. He had a difficulty in locking him up- The prisoner pleaded guilty, and said he was sorry for what he had done- Fined 10s. and costs. |
